Wedding Cake Basics
All of our cake selections may be made into tiered or stacked wedding and celebration cakes. Each tier is four inches high with three layers of cake and the chosen buttercream or filling between the layers and white or tinted buttercream on the outside. Tiered and stacked cakes are priced per piece with all flavors starting at $5.50. Non stacked designs also begin at $5.50 per piece. Rolled fondant icing may also be chosen for an additional $1.00 per piece. Single filled layer cakes and sheet cakes are available for additional servings with a cost savings per person.
The price per person includes mid-level decorations and free delivery and set-up for stacked cakes with-in the immediate Champaign-Urbana area. Delivery is also available outside of the local area. Cakes with serving numbers of 60 or less will be available for pick up only. Please call for pricing. The price per person does not include purchase of ribbons, toppers, or fresh, silk and gum paste flowers but does include their arranging on the cake.
Each cake is designed on an individual basis. Our photo TV and life size decorated cakes are available for viewing in our showroom during regular store hours. Personal design appointments are booked after your wedding date has been reserved.
Reserving Your Date
A $75.00 non-refundable deposit and completed contract are required to reserve the date for your celebration or wedding. When your date is reserved we then schedule a free 45 minute design consultation.
Your choice of cake design and cake flavors will be decided at the time of your design consultation. The first payment of fifty percent of the estimated total payment is also due at this time. The $75.00 deposit is considered as part of this non-refundable payment.
The final balance is adjusted according to the final numbers given and is due two weeks before the delivery date.
Wedding orders and design consultations must be completed no later than six weeks before the delivery date. Orders placed later may incure additional rush order charges based upon time and product availability.
Wedding Cake Tasting Boxes
Private Wedding Cake tasting boxes are available by special order. They can be picked up during regular business hours and shared with your special person at your convenience.
Each tasting box is designed to serve two. The box contains one cupcake each of all seven cake flavors and tasting portions of all fillings, icings and rolled fondant. Please see the Flavor Gallery page for all of the available flavors included. Multiple boxes may be ordered if you wish to share with more people.
Private tasting boxes are $20.00 each plus tax
